Scott's Quality Lawn Care recently called upon its local Camrose clients to donate items for the Camrose Neighbour Aid Center.
On February 23rd some of the Scott's Quality Lawn Care crew drove around the city dropping of blue tote bags to those clients who wanted to participate. The very next day, the crews drove around picking up donations from a very generous 130 clients who chose to participate. Having not done a Food Drive before, Scott's had what they felt was a lofty goal of 100 participants. Not only was that goal exceeded, many individuals exceeded expectations donating extra bags, leaving excess items that wouldn't fit into the bag on their porch, and some even donating totes of items.
"The generosity of our community never ceases to amaze us. We are aiming for another food drive in August which is one of the slower donation periods for the Camrose Neighbour Aid Center and we're hoping to beat our previous total of 2153 lbs of donations," said Scott.
The Scott's Quality Lawn Care staff greatly enjoyed orchestrating and participating in this event and we extend our thanks and appreciation to our generous community.
