The 2nd Scott's Quality Lawn Care Food Drive was a great success thanks to our generous clients and in house volunteers!

For the first time Scott's Quality Lawn Care called upon its local Camrose clients this past February to donate items for the Camrose Neighbor Aid Center. Scott's Quality Lawn Care did it again on September 4th with an even greater number of participants and food donated!
On September 3rd some of the Scott's Quality Lawn Care crew drove around the city dropping of blue tote bags to those clients who wanted to participate. The very next day, the crews drove around picking up donations from a very generous 170 clients who chose to participate. This was up from the 130 participants from this past February. Not only were there more participants this time around, many generous clients left extra bags or boxes of food for pick-up.

Overall Scott's Quality Lawn Care's clients donated a combined 2756 pounds of food and supplies which surpassed the previous total of 2153 pounds from the February Food Drive.
The Scott's Quality Lawn Care staff greatly enjoyed orchestrating and participating in this event and extend their thanks and appreciation to the generous community.
"Our community has been so generous over the years so we are not overly surprised that our clients answered the call once again and beat the previous total. Once you do something like this the word spreads so we did expect this one to be larger, but we are still blown away by the number and the generosity of our clients. Who knows, maybe we can reach 3000 pounds on our next food drive. It's really great to see," said Scott.
The next Food Drive is slated to tentatively take place in the upcoming February of 2027. Scott's Quality Lawn Care has planned to focus on the slower donation periods for the Camrose Neighbor Aid Center which tend to be August and February. All clients will be notified by email with the option to opt-in to participate in the next Food Drive.
